Watering restrictions are in effect from May 15 - September 15, annually. Water before 11 am or after 5 pm. Watering restrictions apply to residents using private wells or surface water for irrigation. 

Your watering day is based on your street address:

• Odd numbers may water on odd days
• Even numbers may water on even days

Car washing, children running or playing in sprinklers, filling a child's pool, and hand watering plants or shrubs are permitted at any time. 

Penalties

Penalties shall be billed to the customer and collected as part of the city's utility bill and are as follows:

• 1st Penalty - Warning
• 2nd Penalty - $25.00
• 3rd Penalty - $50.00
• 4th Penalty - Turned over to city attorney for prosecution
