Vision

Provide input on new building impacts to the landscape
Provide input on local watershed planning
Study solid waste disposal and recycling
Educate and recognize the public for environmental efforts

Green Community Awards

Apply now for a Green Community Award! Residents and businesses are recognized each year for taking on environmentally friendly projects on their properties. Award applicants will be contacted in August. Winners are recognized by the mayor at a city council meeting. To nominate yourself or a neighbor, please refer to the application form below.

The Green Community Awards began in 2007. It is a way for Shoreview citizens, businesses, and other organizations to be recognized for their work in the environment. The committee has three award categories: water, energy, and general.
