Come celebrate Global Diversity Awareness month with us! A Peace of My Mind, a multimedia arts project by award-winning photographer and storyteller John Noltner is coming to Shoreview. This project uses portraits and personal stories to bridge divides, encourage dialogue, and celebrate the differences between us all.
Onsite studio
Share your story with us! Mr. Noltner will be gathering stories from residents around the question:
- What is your responsibility to create community?
Bring your answer to this question, in 25 words or less, to the onsite studio where you will pose for your portrait. The studio will be at the Shoreview library. Walk-ins welcomed but you can also sign up for a studio time here.
Portraits and answers will be printed and displayed throughout the city in a rotating gallery. They will also be available online.

This program is presented by the Shoreview Human Rights Commission, Oak Hill Montessori Community School, and the Ramsey County Library thanks to a grant from the Shoreview Community Foundation.
